Worship

Our congregation is a diverse group consisting of a wide range of ages, occupations, family sizes and structures. We are bound together by the belief in one God (the maker of heaven and earth), Jesus Christ (the Son of God), and the Holy Spirit. Each Sunday morning as a part of our worship services, we invite those present to share with us in taking the bread and the cup from the table of the Lord. We believe in an Open Communion Table; this is the Table of the Lord and it was He who encouraged that all of his followers should eat and drink from it in remembrance of Him.
The emblems of the body and blood of Christ are passed among us by members of the Diaconate. Ours are individual cups and small portions of bread which we hold until all have been served. Then, we share the emblems together. This eating from the Table of the Lord is especially important in our service. We feel that Christ is made known to us in this rite. We do this in remembrance of Him; we experience the assurance of God’s love for his people.

How do we worship?
Our churches celebrates the diversity of generations within our worship service. Because of that, we have a sermon and a children's sermon. Our band, 'Living Stones,' and our pianist, Amy, allow our music to have a wonderful variety.  We lift up a variety of gifts throughout the service, including solos.  We celebrate an open communion table to all of God's children.
